When to use a certified e-signature provider
eDocu adds a simple visual electronic signature. It does not issue digital certificates, verify signer identities, or provide a certified audit trail. Government submissions, regulated industries, or high-risk agreements may require a certified provider. Review the Terms before using eDocu for an important document.
Sign images as well as PDFs
You can also add a signature to a JPG, PNG, or WebP image, such as a photo or a scanned page. The signed file downloads as an image in the same format, not as a PDF. If your browser cannot create WebP files, eDocu saves the signed image as PNG and tells you.

Which document formats can I sign?
eDocu accepts PDF, JPG, PNG, and WebP files. A PDF downloads as a signed PDF, and an image downloads as a signed image in the same format: JPG stays JPG, PNG stays PNG, and WebP stays WebP. If your browser cannot create WebP files, the signed image is saved as PNG instead.
