# eDocu

> eDocu is an online document-signing application operated by Akrinum OÜ. Its public tool lets a user add a simple electronic signature to a PDF or image and download the signed PDF.

## Core signing workflow

- Choose a PDF, JPG, PNG, or WebP document.
- Create a signature by drawing, typing, or uploading a signature image.
- Place and resize the signature on the document.
- Download the result as a signed PDF.
- The public signing tool is free and does not require an account.

## Document processing and privacy

In the standard free signing flow, document loading, signature placement, and PDF generation run in the user's browser. eDocu does not intentionally upload or store the document file on its servers. Accounts can optionally store reusable signatures and preferences. See the Privacy Policy for details.

## Product scope

eDocu adds a simple visual electronic signature. It is not a digital-certificate, identity-verification, notarization, or certified audit-trail service. Regulated or high-risk signing workflows may require a certified provider.

## Plans

The public signing tool remains free. Optional Free accounts and paid Pro subscriptions provide reusable-signature features for people who sign documents regularly.
